Northeast Tennessee Campgrounds are nestled among  the gentle majestic Appalachian Mountains, the oldest mountains on Earth, which are inspirational  to awe-inspiring to witness first hand.

Visitors may choose to simply hang out around the campground and relax the day away or get out away from the campground and witness the beautiful mountain scenery first-hand by hiking, boating, or driving. However, close to the campgrounds are numerous family oriented attractions for visitors to enjoy, since Northeast Tennessee possesses a rich historical background. Northeast Tennessee features numerous campgrounds depending on the area you would  like to stay or whether you are  camping in a camper or a tent. Here are a few local  campgrounds where you could stay:

1. Davy Crockett Campground has 88 sites equipped with water, sewer, electricity, bathrooms, and grills. This campground also features a replica cabin built to resemble the cabin that  Davy was born back in 1786 and this campground is located on the Nolichucky River.

2. Roan Mountain State Park Campground has 87 campsites and 30 cabins equipped with electricity hookups, water, tent sites, grills, picnic tables, dump station, bathhouses, playground, pets welcome, Laundromat, swimming pool, tennis, and fishing.

3. Rocky Top Campground has 35 sites available with bathhouses, full hookups, playground, grills, sewer station, Recreation room, laundry, country store, and pets welcome.

4. Warrior’s Path State Park Campground has 134 campsites equipped with grills, electric, water, bathhouse, hiking, boating, golf course, swimming pool, horseback riding, fishing, paddle boats, picnic tables, a boundless playground- only one in this area.
